Hi, I'm Saylob Safi.

Founder of Safi Physicians Consulting and a current medical student at Kaiser Permanente Bernard J. Tyson School of Medicine.

Like many aspiring physicians, I know that the journey to medical school is both exciting and challenging. Every application, personal statement, interview, and decision represents years of hard work, dedication, and perseverance. Having recently navigated this process myself, I understand how valuable personalized guidance and genuine mentorship can be during one of the most important chapters of your life.

Before beginning medical school, I graduated from the University of California, Irvine, worked as an EMT, participated in clinical research, and dedicated hundreds of hours to volunteering in healthcare and my community. Through these experiences—and through years of coaching basketball—I developed a passion for mentorship and discovered that one of life's greatest rewards is helping others realize their potential.

Those experiences inspired me to create Safi Physicians Consulting.

I founded Safi Physicians Consulting with one purpose: to help aspiring healthcare professionals pursue their dreams with confidence.

Applying to medical school is about far more than grades and test scores. It's about telling your story with authenticity, reflecting on the experiences that shaped you, and presenting the person behind the application. Every applicant has a unique journey, and I believe the strongest applications come from embracing that individuality.

My role is not to change your story—it's to help you tell it in the most genuine, compelling, and strategic way possible.
